Packed with premium organic materials and carefully selected components, Naturepedic has re-imagined the mattresses category with health, comfort and sustainability as core guiding principles. The average queen size memory foam mattress, for example, is made from approximately 35 gallons of crude oil plus a host of other chemicals (i.e. isocyonates). Volatile organic compounds, formaldehyde, flame retardants, PFCs and other like chemicals increase the risk to our health and well being. The use of these chemicals may also have serious environmental ramifications. All of this can be avoided by using organic and other non-toxic ingredients in place of these materials. Not surprisingly, these materials are actually more comfortable!

it all starts with real fibers
mother nature's recipe for true comfort
the best earth has to offer
Packed with real fibers like organic cotton, pla, wool alpaca and cashmere, Naturepedic mattresses are super breathable. Each of these fibers has uniqe properties that work together to create a symphony of comfort characteristics for the best natural sleep possible.
organic latex
made from the sap of rubber trees
Latex sap is a sticky, milky colloid drawn by making incisions in the bark of the Hevea Brasiliensis rubber tree and collecting the fluid in a process called "tapping". This process is not harmful to the trees. In fact, a single tree is typically tapped for up to 28 years. Rubber trees gain about 24 inches in height each season, reaching a maximum height of 50 to 100 feet in as little as 13 years. The average rubber tree yields about 18-20 pounds of latex annually.
glueless encased coils
breathable support at its best
When it comes to support, individually wrapped coils take the cake (at least in our humble opinion). Breathability and heat dissipation play an important role in the comfort of a bed, and unlike blocks of foam, coils actually give heat somewhere to go. Beds that sleep hot can lead to increased tossing and turning. Foam mattresses that "sleep cool" often use chemical gimmickery to pull heat away for a cooler sensation only to dish the heat back out later.
